BENSON
Benson just came in to CRLNE!  He is under evaluation and NOT AVAILABLE at this time.  Please check back at a later date for more information.

BEAR
A huggable Bear he is!  He is 10 years old, but acts like he is 8.  Active, wants to please, all around gentleman.  He likes to ride in the car, so taking him for picnics, walks on the beach or just a Sunday stroll would make his day.

Bear is up to date on all his vaccines, had his teeth cleaned and is neutered.  He is good with other dogs, but does NOT like cats.  Bear came from a situation where he was isolated and kept in a pen most of his 10 years.  Now is HIS time to enjoy a life with a loving family (without cats!)

BRUNO (BRU) Adopted

Meet the Bru!  This young collie is a diamond in the 'rough'.  He is affectionate, inquisitive, playful, active, smart, observant, settles well, bonds quickly.

He is house-trained, crate/exercise pen trained, walks well on leash, rides well in the car, ignores traffic, likes to tug, has a great sit.

He enjoys learning and training.  If you can train it, he can learn it -- skies the limit!  Bruno would be GREAT as an agility dog.

Bruno needs a home with no small children.

BROWNIE UPDATED PHOTO

Brownie is a very sweet guy who has impeccable house manners, plays fetch, comes on a dime and is quick to learn. He rides very well in the truck and does not have any food aggression issues.

He does have issues with being bit fearful and unsure of new people and situations.  When he can't get to what interests him, he will become agitated and direct his frustration at whatever or whoever is near him.

A structured environment where the whole family uses the same language, training is a must.  Someone interested in enrolling in positive clicker trainer would be perfect for Brownie.  No young children, as Brownie is a bit too rambunctious and unsure.

He is a great little guy, just needs exercise, attention and continued guidance on how to behave.

CALEB
My name is Caleb and I am a handsome senior gentleman.  I love my people, long walks on and off leash and I love to sleep!
I'm a very good boy in the house, and never have accidents.  If you call me, I'll come a runnin'....even if I'm off leash.   As long as someone is nearby and I have a comfy bed I'm a happy guy.
At my age I unfortunately have a heart problem and need to take medication twice daily, but my doctor says I am a healthy boy.
Riding in cars stresses me a bit and I don't care much for doing stairs, and I really don't need to because my foster Mom will carry me if I look at her with my big handsome brown eyes.
Small children also cause me stress as little ones like to climb on me and tugging on me, so a house without small children would be best.  That goes for small/large exuberant dogs too!
So please consider me if you've got a gentle pup that will give me my space, or I'd be happy as the only dog.  I'd make a really great companion for a family with a quiet household.

DODGER

One blue eye, one brown eye...he's a handsome collie indeed.  Dodger likes other dogs, likes to ride in the car and is full of energy.  He would REQUIRE a fenced in yard, as his herding instinct sometime gets the best of him and he'll chase!

His history is a bit sketchy, and we aren't sure if he likes cats, but with his desire to chase, a home without cats, or small children would be best.  He is housebroken and has good manners.  A family that has time for exercise, playtime and some training would enjoy having Dogder.

If you are interested in Dodger, please call:  802.368.7910.   Approved applicants will only be considered.

HAPPY UPDATED PHOTO-Courtesy Posting

Please note that this is a courtesy posting. Happy is not with Collie Rescue League of New England and inquires must be made to the phone number below.

Happy is just that......HAPPY.   This sweet boy is blind but that doesn't stop him from enjoying life.  He loves to be brushed, loves to be 'talked' to, enjoys nothing better than to be by your side.  Once he becomes familiar with his surroundings, he can navigate through a room without a problem.

Happy was found by a highway and taken to a shelter.  He spent many months waiting for someone to adopt him.  A good hearted, loving person brought Happy to their home.  But unfortunately, Happy is quite frightened of other dogs and cats and needs to find a home where he is the only dog.  Neutered and UTD on all vaccines, this sweet boy needs a home where he can soak up all the love that a family can give.

If you are interested in Happy or would like more information, please call 508.394.1807. Happy is in Massachusetts.

LUNA COURTESY POSTING

Luna is not with Collie Rescue League but is a courtesy posting. Inquiries will be handled by the League's president: Diane Mancini.

Luna is an AKC-registered smooth collie.  She is happiest in her fenced-in back yard or going for long walks in the woods.  She enjoys a quiet and predictable environment.  She loves the outdoors and snow.  She has had obedience training and responds to a happy, loving environment.

Luna lives with another dog, but would also flourish as an only dog.  She likes women and men, but seems to enjoy the company of males!

She doesn't like loud or hectic households. Luna is completely housebroken, healthy, spayed and up to date on all of her vaccines.  She doesn’t respond well to angry words or commands.  Prefers a family that will appreciate her 'soft' heart and her 'soft' way about her.  She is a wonderful collie!

If you are interested in Luna, please call Diane Mancini at: 802.368.7910.  Only approved applicants will be considered!

PERCY Courtesy Posting,NEW Photo & Write-Up

This is a courtesy posting for one of our members. Please call the phone number listed in the write-up to inquire about Percy, he is not with the League.

Percy is a handsome, friendly ,outgoing guy. He is very willing to please and responds best to positive reinforcement. He knows basic obedience and has a Rally title. He walks best on a halti.

Percy is an energetic collie and can be a bit rambunctious when playing so a home with older dog savvy children is best. He rides well in a car, is not a big barker and is completely housebroken.  He is neutered, UTD on all vaccines and is healthy.

He wants to be 'top male' in the house so a home with a female dog would be fine, or as an only dog. A home that is quiet and stable is ideal. He needs an experienced dog owner who will guide him and keep up with his training.  A fenced yard is mandatory.

Percy loves walks and is fine meeting other dogs.  If you would like more information on Percy, please call 802.368.7910.  Qualified applicants will only be considered.
